The Healthy in Real Life podcast is HERE!
Hi friends! Iโm writing with some exciting news today because the Healthy In Real Life podcast is up and rolling. You can listen on iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play.
Iโve considered doing a podcast for a couple of years now. The only thing really holding me back was the tech aspect, but once I decided I was going for it, a few online tutorials later and it wasnโt that bad. (If youโre considering getting into the podcasting world, I highly recommend Pat Flynnโs videos!)
Voice has such an incredible power. You can get so much from text on a screen and from video, but I feel like, with podcasts and audio content, it feels like youโre having coffee with a friend. Thatโs exactly what I wanted with all of you! Itโs another way for us to connect and another way for me to share content with you, especially through expert interviews.
The first two episodes are now live and you can subscribe through iTunes,ย Stitcher, andย Google Play.ย You can also check out all of the episodes under the โpodcastโ menu option on the blog (top right of the menu bar). The first one is a short intro episode about my history with health and fitness, in addition to some plans for the podcast. The second episode is an interview with my good friend Jess. She has SO MUCH health and fitness knowledge to share, so I was excited to record some thoughts on postpartum fitness, diastasis recti, and her upcoming movement and Pilates festival, Momentum Fest. (If youโre in Denver this weekend, be sure to check it out!)
I have SO MANY IDEAS for the podcast and canโt wait to continue to share them with you! If you have any feedback or requests for upcoming episodes, please let me know!
If you would subscribe and rate the podcast so more people can see it, Iโd appreciate your help so much.
To celebrate, how about a little Blogiversary giveaway from me to you?

Subscribed! Hoping to get time to listen during nap time today
Listened to the first episode, and rated the podcast!! Gotta say, I loved hearing your voice and how you pronounce certain words (like Nana. My kids call my mom Nana, but it sounds more like banana–they even used to call her Nana Banana, haha). I found your talking pace to be nice to listen to, as well. ๐
I’d like to hear conversations about healthy living with kids and fitting it all in.
I love podcasts, especially when Iโm doing chores around the house. Canโt wait to add these to my queue ****

I’d love to learn more about yoga teacher training!
YAY! I listened to both episodes.
I would love to listen to an R.D. and about Intermittent Fasting/Macros/Keto. Since that is all the craze lately.
Just listened to the first episode. You rock! ********
Also, just listened to the podcast with Jessica Valant Pilates. What would you recommend to those who have not have had children but pee when they sneeze.
I would ask your doc for a referral to pelvic floor physical therapy. Your PF muscles can be too tight/strong which can also cause this. They can help find the muscle imbalance and give you personalized exercises to help!
Thank you!
I love listening to podcasts with friends and family. They are so personal and I feel like we learn so much more about your everyday life in those.
Reviews of new products or trends (fitness, nutrition, etc.)
I just subscribed! I’m excited to hear the first episode on my way home from work tonight!
Also just rated and reviewed. I just listened to the first podcast and I’m excited for the next one!
Would love to hear about how to get leaner without feeling like you’re hungry and while still building muscle/strength!

Looking for a new postcast, this is great! Would love to hear about meal planning/prep *****
Quick healthy meals on the go! I have 3 kids and work full time, during any sports season we’re going from practice to practice, game to game without much downtime to actually cook. I rely on my instant pot heavily and love it, but am always on the search for how other people fit in healthy dinners during all the crazy!
Awesome! Congrats Gina! I can’t wait to check it out.
*******So exciting!
Iโd love to hear a podcast about kids healthy eating. How you navigate meal time & picky eaters!
So pumped to check this out! Would love to hear some conversation about being in a cooking rut, how to get out of it and some tips on meal planning when you have minimal time in the evenings and hangry little creatures (kids) who just want to snack! *******

I think you have such a positive message, even when things get hard, so I would love to hear about that on the podcast!
*****Congratulations!!
Subscribing. One thing I’m interested in is when do you drop a ‘healthy habit’ vs. keep going when you’re not seeing benefits. I rarely notice benefits from all the various trends– collagen, lemon water, herbal remedies, most skin products, etc., etc., so I stop them. Then wonder if I just quit too soon. LOL I’m a skeptic by nature. I do keep up on the ones with significant science behind them like fish oil pills, sunscreen, regular exercise and healthy eating– but the rest, not so much.
Yayyy! I’m gonna listen on the way home from SD! Post partum fitness would’ve been my topic so I’m glad you already have one on that. So excited for you, friend.
I subscribed on Overcast!
Subscirbed too ๐
Iโd love to hear some interviews with working moms and how they fit in time for exercise and healthy meal prep!
Yay congrats!!! So excited for you ๐ *****
