The latest Stitch Fix
Usually when I receive a Stitch Fix (<–affiliate link) box, two things happen:
1) I dance around with the box and while singing a beloved show tune (ok, so I just get reaallllyyyy excited) and
2) I usually know right away what I’m going to keep and what I’m going to send back.
This is the first box that has left me kind of stumped! Here’s what’s in there; I’d love your help with yay-ing or nay-ing a couple of things.
(Yes, Stitch Fix is clothes shopping, which I gave up for lent. I could have canceled my shipment, not knowing where or when I’d receive another one, but I chose to keep it as something to look forward to before the move.)
Keeper: this springy mint dress. Perfect for church on Easter, or with sandals. I love the cut and style of it, too.
(with nude Steve Madden pumps)
Keeper: this light, printed Sanctuary tank
Keeper: a simple, delicate gold necklace
No clue: this printed shift dress. I LOVE the neckline and pattern, but the dress itself is shapeless and just looks kind of big.
This is my “halp me” face.
Do I belt it? Keep it? I dunno.
Another one I’m not sure about: this bright and flowy top.
I like it with my white Joe’s jeans, but I’m not sure if I love the color blocking.
What do you think?

In full transparency, I paid for the above items using Stitch Fix credit from referrals to the brand over the past year and a half. Thank you sincerely for your support! I’m so happy that many of you have tried it and love it as much as I do <3
Love the first three, get rid of the last two. Happy Friday ๐
LOVE that first dress! Wish I got something that cute in my own Stitch Fix! No to the other dress, and no to the other top if you don’t love it, but I think the colors really flatter you!
Nay to both! The first three were amazing finds though!
I love the mint dress and the green/blue tank at the end! Not loving the shift dress. It’s not you- it’s the dress ๐
Nay on the dress, yay on the shirt! Love color blocking!
I agree with with Julie, the first 3 items are fab, but no to both of the others. Love the print of the second dress but it just has no shape, even belted.
I agree!
I think both could be yeses, but if you don’t love them, there’s always next month! I LOVE the Sanctuary top and necklace!
Love the color blocked shirt on you with the white jeans! Id have to say nay on the printed dress, though. Thanks for sharing your stitch fixes with us, it’s always fun to see what you get!
Agree! That color blocking is beautiful on you. But only if you will come to love it.
thank you! i decided to keep the top and sent the dress back
LOVE the color blocked too with the white jeans. I say hang on to that and return the shift dress.
ditto!
i love the first three items, especially the mint easter dress! i’m not a fan of the shift dress, but i actually like the color block top paired with your white jeans. the green and blue colors are really flattering and remind me of spring!
I actually am not the biggest fan of the mint green dress, but do love the green and blue color block top! I think it could benefit from a dart underneath the bust, but the color looks great on you! With the white jeans and some nude strappy wedgess… love it. ๐
I might check out this hole StitchFix idea. Normally I’m such an impossibly picky dresser, but I do love subscription services!

No to the second dress and last top. The other two look great on you though. Love the necklace.
I agree with you on the last two pieces. I think it’s the cut of the dress and the top. They just aren’t flattering… In my opinion. Love the first two pieces though!
Love the shirt!! Pretty colors.
No to the dress!
i love the color block top!
Love the first ones but nay on the last
love the cute spring dress! and i really love that blue top with the white jeans. so cute!
Love the pattern of the dress but it does nothing for your good figure. Love everything about the top!!
Nay to the dress. Not doing much for a hard earned figure! Yay to the color block too. It is cute on its own but think possibilities; with a blazer or cardigan spring/fall transition piece. Try it with a statement necklace/collar necklace too. Might make the high neckline have more shape.
Yeah, I’m not a fan of the last two, they don’t flatter your figure very well. But that mint dress is delish!
I like the first three items but not the last two. Stitch fix definitely was not amazing for me. Noting I ever got fit or was what I wanted. I would say no black and everything in my stitch fix would be black. Glad to see you’re atleast getting a few items you like!
I would say nay to the shift dress but I really like the color block top. I think the colors are really flattering on your olive skin tone! Love stitch fix! Wish I could afford it more often!
I don’t like the shift….but you are rocking the color block top!
Color block colors are gorgeous on you and I like even more than the sanctuary top. No to shift dress:)
Meh, I would also say ditch the ones you don’t love right away! The ones you picked looked really nice so go with your gut ๐
I love that last top!! Not a huge fan of the dress, it is a weird shape. I say send it back!
Love the mint dress and the other keeper items! Definitely return the other dress. The color block shirt is ok but I agree with a statement necklace. I feel like it needs a different neckline.
I love, love, love everything you’re already keeping, and I also really like the color-blocked tank top. I’m not a huge fan of the shapeless dress, but you look so cute in everything, so I guess I’d just decide if it’s something with which you’d get your money’s worth. I am no help at all, apparently. ๐
No to the shapeless dress. And an even bigger no to those flat sandals. Love everything else!
Keep everything except for the printed shift dress. Love the colorful top.
Lose the dress, keep the top!
Does StitchFix send you the awesome volume your hair has, too? Because if so, I’m getting one ๐
I would keep the top but send back the dress. Love the top 3 items!!
No to the shift dress, yes to the color blocking top. The top is super cute on you!!
I have to say yes to the first 3 – no to the second 2. Love that easter dress! The color is beautiful.
Definitely keep the color blocking top! Love it!
I’m kinda meh on the shift dress. Have you tried it with some tall wedges? That may help the shape fall a little bit better. For some reason that always works for me; maybe shifts are hard to pull off for us shorties? ๐
maybe nay to the last two, the last dress was a bit hard to make work and I actually think the shirt would be cuter as one color. My rule with shopping is that when you’re not sure it’s probably not worth the buy. The first 3 things were great though, especially the first dress!!!
I love these but the printed dress looks a bit too big/boxy, even when it’s belted. I LOVE the color blocked shirt and think it looks great on you.
My new clothes shopping mantra is “If I don’t love it, I don’t keep it,” so I’d send the 2 back based on that. I am IN LOVE with that first dress though! <3
A great clothes philosophy! I hate clutter and actually find having things in my wardrobe that I don’t wear to be stressful!
The dress doesn’t look good at all, belt or not. The shirt on the other hand is really nice for summer – love the bright colors, especially paired with your white jeans.
No to the shift dress or the second top – but I like the color block top. The Easter dress is cute.
What do you mean by “not knowing when I’d receive another one” – if you cancel for one month do you lose all of the referral dollars you worked so hard for? I think they’d make an exception (maybe?)
I would say no to both. If you don’t love them are you really going to wear them?
Nay to the dress–I’m not a huge fan of shift dresses and even with a belt it’s still super boxy (the pattern is fun though). Yay to the shirt! I also love colorblocking and agree with other commenters who say that the color is super flattering on you!
The bright and flowy color-blocking top is the best. Definitely keep that!
I love the color block tank. The colors are so pretty and it looks comfy. Not a huge fan of the dress because, like you said, it just kinda hangs.
I’m pretty meh on both of those pieces. Too bad about the dress because it’s a cute print but yeah, pretty shapeless. The color on the top is fabulous, but again, too shapeless. I like the keeper items, especially that necklace!
And sorry but that totally counts as shopping! ๐
I have a tank that’s very similar to the last one that I wear with white jeans but it doesn’t do a whole lot for me and I rarely wear it.
Ditch the shift dress, it’s weird, but definitely, definitely, keep that top! It is so so cute, and I love it with those pants!
I love love love that first minty dress! So cute!
As for the other 2 questions…. I always go with the rule, that if I don’t love it when I first try it on, I probably won’t wear it in the future. For me, that’s usually what happens. I have quite a few tops in my closet that I thought I might wear… If I found the right belt, sweater, etc…. They are still in my closet with the tags on. That’s just my opinion, but it can help me save monehhhhh ๐
They sent you so many other super cute options, plus there’s always next months fix!
That mint green dress is so pretty on you!! Also–what brand are your dark skinnies that you are wearing with the sanctuary top? Thanks!
they’re sanctuary as well ๐
