YUMMO!!! In the UK I have only been able to get my paws on Apple Pie Larabar – I reeeeeeeeeeally wish I could try some other flavours!!!! Anyway when I’m not snacking on Apple Pie Larabar my favourite snack at the moment is carrot sticks with homemade hummus. (blitz chick peans/garbanzo beans with olive oil, garlic, S&P, lemon juice – easy peasy lemon squeezy!) |
Please send me your shipping info and shirt size to me at fitnessista at gmail dot com (subject: LARABAR WINNER!) 🙂
For today’s giveaway, something gorgeous:
an oGorgeous yoga bag!
I picked the pleated pocket in chrome dazzle– very similar to the bag that Cassey sent me over the holidays.
I get so many compliments on the bag, and am so excited that she kindly offered to send the yoga mat version (valued at $110) to a lucky fitnessista 🙂

My favorite yoga pose is Shavasana. Why? Because I focus all the energy released from the asanas into my third eye.. The room fades away, the boundaries of my body and the floor melt away and I float into total bliss. What an amazing feeling. I love teaching this pose and being in it.
I love downward dog. I’m a stickler for the classics.
And simple stuff. My favorite workout pin:

Standing head to knee in Bikram 🙂
Thanks for the beautiful giveaway and congrats on your blog’s birthday!!!
My favorite pose is the child’s pose. I’m pretty new to yoga but am looking forward to continuing my journey!!!
I really love doing the downward dog pose!
Pigeon for sure!
I’m a fan of the pigeon pose!
Warrior II is my absolute favorite, so challenging but I love the feeling afterwards. My muscles are so relieved.
Triangle pose is my favorite, although I know I SHOULD do more pigeon for my super-tight runner’s hips :/
Heyo Gina!
I’ve been doing yoga “every now and then” for a long time, but last semester got the opportunity to take a yoga class at my school, and was SOOOO happy to make it a regular part of my life! It’s stayed that way since! One of my favorite poses is binding a side angle and then standing up. I’m a dancer and have always had kind of sucky balance, so this has really helped me improve!
Thanks!
Dana
Shavasana – so relaxing, yet so difficult at the same time! It’s sometimes so hard to just be in the moment and keep still. I love this pose though because it is SO rejuvinating! That bad is GORGEOUS!
Triangle is my fave!
warrior pose actualyl challenges my balance oddly enough. always love some good childs pose after a long yoga sessioN!
I am definitely a boot camp and cardio girl, but my best friend just got her yoga certification so, i have been taking her class once a week and LOVE it!! I always loved childs pose BUT i recently mastered crow and haven’t looked back since 🙂
Shavasana! Just kidding – i love pigeon! And i love those bags!!
Pigeon! I could seriously fall asleep like that. I’ve come close to it before in classes too.
Anything that opens up my hips, since they get really tight from running. Especially pigeon pose.
My favorite yoga pose is the half moon pose!
Definitely the downward dog, triangle, or runners pose. As a runner, these seem to stretch me out the best. 🙂
I have a love/hate relationship with yoga only because I’m more of an intense cardio type of girl, but it is slowly growing on me!
Favorite pinterest workout- http://pinterest.com/pin/120330621263383451/ It’s intense!
I looove heated vinyasa class-especially royal dancer. Such a cute bag!
Gorgeous bag!!!!! I loveee
Child’s pose. It is the one that always feels the best after a ridiculous outer body stretch!
Pigeon!
Triangle pose or camel if I am feeling good that day!
My favorite yoga pose is pigeon pose!
I love cobra, makes all the tightness in my back disappear!!
Dancers pose – definitely. I feel so strong and powerful when I get into it and I’m always improving at it. 🙂
Tree pose has always been my go-to fav, hands up toward the sky and all… but lately I’ve found solace in downward dog. I hated it in the beginning, but now have learned to use it as a “resting” pose which I think my yoga teacher has been trying to help me along with. So my answer is a tie between tree and downward dog 🙂
Love that girly glam yoga bag!
I love Bird of Paradise and Reverse Bird. I am also close to not falling flat on my face in side crow. Dig that bag! 🙂
I love me a good dancers pose–once I’m in it I never want it to end. Headstands are great for turning around a gloomy day, too…
Downward dog because it makes me smile thinking about my dog Hank doing the same pose after each nap 🙂
I love the simplicity of downward dog and the power that it gives me! Cute bag!!
I love plain old downward dog. Feels so good everywhere!
