Lovely Lemons

(Take that title how you want to, haha)

Hi friends Smile

How’s your day going?? Hope you’re having an amazing Saturday.

It’s my last day at work today, so I have to say “see ya later” to some lovely lemons.

lulu2

I am so, so grateful that I got the chance to work with such talented, uplifting and motivational girls (and dudes). I’ve grown a lot since I started at lulu, started to really get ahold of what I will make happen in life, and am crossing my fingers to transfer when I move- I have a second interview when I get there. (The whole “why I’m moving” story will go up Tuesday morning, and yes, I’m going to Tucson)

So as sad as I am to say “see ya later”, I’m so thankful for the experience and all of the friendships I created Open-mouthed smile

Last day of work food:

snacks

Breakfast cookie dough cereal + a Sun Warrior shake (promo was delayed until early this week- sorry guys, I can’t wait to order some too!)

+ THESE

collard

Raw collard wraps from Café 118. Erin’s looked so good last night that I ordered some to-go to take to work today, since I’m not able to cook right now.

collard (2)

They were REDONK. Crunchy, spicy, sweet, lovely. Just like the ones we had at 105degrees in Oklahoma (where I went to raw culinary school).

This morning’s workout was pretty chill- I read People Style Watch on the elliptical for 45 minutes. It was a good way to wake up and clear my mind- there’s a lot to do this weekend!

Hope you guys have an awesome Saturday and I’ll see ya soon <3

xoxo,

Gina

I worked at the Seattle Mariner’s Team Store which would get SO overwhelming during gamedays. There wasn’t enough room in the store to walk!

Good luck on your next interview!!! I am working the holidays at Pier 1 and I just love everyone I work with! Retail can be crazy hours, but I served for so long, I’m used to the late nights! Can’t wait to read all about your move!

Can you give please some tips for interviewing/working at Lulu? Ive had 2 interviews, a group and then the single and didnt get the job! So i wondering what I could do to ACE my next interview there!

    Thank you Gina!

      hey girl,
it’s interesting because with lulu interview, it’s not about what you say or do, it’s who you are. so if you’re genuine and transparent, passionate and goal-oriented, it will help you get the job 🙂

Good luck with the Tucson interview- I’m sure you’ll rock it 🙂 I’ve never worked retail…I was a waitress/hostess instead. Don’t know why I thought cleaning food off the floor was better than folding clothes!

Good luck with the job interview! Working at lulu looks like a blast 🙂 They are lucky to have you on their team. The only retail I ever worked was at Lucy. I spent the rest of my pre-nursing days scooping ice cream + gelato. Anyway, good luck with the big move! If you need anything, know that you have a fellow blogger (a pretty new one) in town.

I worked at Abercrombie and dillards also! lol
and when all my kids get old enough to all be in school, and I can actually HAVE a job outside of them, I would love to work at lulu!

I would totally be in for a bloger/reader meetup here in AZ! A friend of mine teaches Hot yoga at SUMIT in gilbert 🙂

  14. Brittany (Eating Bird Food) on December 5, 2010 at 12:29 pm

We talked about this, but I worked at Abercrombie and Fitch as well. I’ve also worked at Pacific Sunwear and Coldstone Creamery. 🙂

Best of luck with your second interview and move.
