Emma! She said:
YUMMO!!! In the UK I have only been able to get my paws on Apple Pie Larabar – I reeeeeeeeeeally wish I could try some other flavours!!!! Anyway when I’m not snacking on Apple Pie Larabar my favourite snack at the moment is carrot sticks with homemade hummus. (blitz chick peans/garbanzo beans with olive oil, garlic, S&P, lemon juice – easy peasy lemon squeezy!) |
Please send me your shipping info and shirt size to me at fitnessista at gmail dot com (subject: LARABAR WINNER!) 🙂
For today’s giveaway, something gorgeous:
an oGorgeous yoga bag!
I picked the pleated pocket in chrome dazzle– very similar to the bag that Cassey sent me over the holidays.
I get so many compliments on the bag, and am so excited that she kindly offered to send the yoga mat version (valued at $110) to a lucky fitnessista 🙂

Dancer’s pose is my absolute favorite.
Sirsasana! I had to look up the yoga name for the headstand. I’ve only taken one yoga class where the instructor taught us how to do it. Afterwards I became obsessed with mastering it. Now I always win headstand contests with my friends – haha. Because that happens really often.
My second favorite would be crow. It’s really challenging for me. I can only do it on good days. I just think there is something so cool about being able to balance all your body weight on your hands like that.

I get a kick out of that one.
great giveaway!!!
balancing stick. the way it feels and the timing of it–perfect.
I don’t think I have a favorite–I love and yield benefits from all of them. I work at a yoga studio and practice power vinyasa daily, and each time I step onto my mat my practice is drastically different but always transformative. I love Cassey’s designs, and the bag would be incredibly useful. I don’t have a mat bag and keep wanting to buy one, but for some reason never do!
My favorite pose is probably pyramid – man, can I feel those hammys stretching. Hurts so good!
Bakasana – Crow pose. It took me two and a half years to master this pose… Lots of near-face plants, lots of teetering on my hands and the very tips of my toes – in short, lots of practice. And then finally, one day, it stuck. For me, one of the most hard won victories. 🙂
Love Cassey’s designs! I’ve always wanted one of her bags so I’m really excited about this giveaway! My favorite pose is Astavakrasana (eight legged angle) My pinterest profile pic is actually me in that pose which you see when you check out my pinned workout! : http://pinterest.com/pin/25473554112824360/
My favorite yoga pose is camel! Such a deep and amazing backbend, challenges me so much!
Warrior 3! Reminds me of my years studying ballet!
I don’t know if I can choose just one! But there’s nothing that replenishes me more than breathing during a great yoga class.
I love pigeon. It hurts so good.
I’d have to say crow. I remember the first time I tried it and tipped over onto my face. I just laughed because even though I didn’t stay in it for long, I was able to get up into the pose. It reminded me that yoga is a gift you give yourself every time you step onto your mat, and it keeps on giving because there’s always a new position to try, fail at, and try, try, try again at until you perfect. I love the attainability of yoga practice!
I love down dog, because my calves and hamstring are tight no matter how much or often I stretch, so I always have something to work toward. I will get my heels on the ground, dangit!
Pigeon because no matter how much I stretch it still feels painfully good!
My favourite is camel- hands down!!
Pigeon! Love me a good hip flexor stretch 🙂
I actually took my very first yoga class tonight!! I loved low lunge – the perfect stretch after a long run!!
My favorite yoga pose is the Scorpion when I’m at Bikram. It challenges me physically AND mentally. If my body is ready, but my mind is not focused, the Scorpion is not possible!
Any variation of a warrior pose is heaven to my leggies!
I love tree pose best.
Don’t have pinterest but I do have a favourite pose, it’s Savasana. I love it before class when you start to reconnect with your mind and body and I love knowing I am working my butt off through class to enjoy it again.
Favorite yoga pose has to be shoulder stance. Always feels so good after a challenging heated class!
Sirsasana A or head stand, fave all time by far.
My favorite yoga pose is headstand. It’s so energizing and calming at the same time!
I LOVE the compass/sundial pose.

Upward bow is both challenging and a favorite of mine. Thanks for the giveaway!
Definitely the downward dog!
i LOVE this giveaway! one of my 2012 fitness goals has been to practice yoga regularly, so this one is right up my alley! favorite pose would probably have to be chair pose. always a challenge, no matter how many times you do it!
Happy Baby since the day I was born… I’m a total natural.
Mia from Denmark here. There is no doubt that headstand is my favourite. I love how it makes me feel super focused and so relaxed at the same time.
My favourite pose is pigeon. It is such a great stretch and I am really tight in the hips and thighs so I love that one!
Child’s pose!!
Wow – this is a great giveaway! My favorite pose is pigeon. It’s a great stretch and I sometimes just do it when watching TV and when I’m staying in hotels. It just feels really good.
downward dog. i’m still a beginner!
I love the dancer pose. I teach kid’s yoga — the kds are always so proud when they can balance in dancer!
right now that is the headstand because I dreaded it for years and then surprised myself when I finally let go and discovered it was easy:))
My favorite Yoga pose is the cobra. Such a great stretch for your abs.
I have been practicing Bikram for 4 years and i love toe stand. It has taken me 3.5 years to perfect and every time I do it now I am reminded of how with each good choice our bodies are changing, even if we can’t always tell
I love child’s pose the most….such a great stretch for my on-off lower back issues! Great giveaway!
Favorite yoga pose – Warrior. Makes me feel strong and capable. Working now on a headstand. My daughter and I work on it together, she is a teen and is flexible and strong from Color Guard. It is a bonding experience.
The bag is fab. I love the silver. It looks very fresh and modern.
Crow is my fav move.
Love yoga!!
My favorite has to be pigeon! I love to hate it, but it just feels so good in the end!
My new favorite yoga pose is headstand. I’m learning to “fly” after a long fear of inversions and it feels so good to conquer that fear!
My favorite pose is the go to, standard, down dog. Everything opens up in that position, and I can feel my legs and back getting longer!
Besides corpse pose (I mean, who doesn’t love that?! It’s the best feeling at the end of a practice!), I think pigeon is my favorite. My hips get really tight from running and wearing heels at work all day, and it’s just such a great stretch.
Pigeon pose…it feels so great on my hips!
My favorite pose after a long workout, or plank/hovers, is the child pose. I could stay in that pose all day long!
i’m actually still struggling with yoga. i’m not big on meditation aspect. mostly cuz i have no clue what the instructor is saying. But the stretching makes me feel good, so i’m trying to work it back in. and downward dog really stretches a lot of me! i’m working to the point where i can actually keep my heels down!
Downward dog! I’m a newbiee
