Emma! She said:
YUMMO!!! In the UK I have only been able to get my paws on Apple Pie Larabar – I reeeeeeeeeeally wish I could try some other flavours!!!! Anyway when I’m not snacking on Apple Pie Larabar my favourite snack at the moment is carrot sticks with homemade hummus. (blitz chick peans/garbanzo beans with olive oil, garlic, S&P, lemon juice – easy peasy lemon squeezy!) |
Please send me your shipping info and shirt size to me at fitnessista at gmail dot com (subject: LARABAR WINNER!) 🙂
For today’s giveaway, something gorgeous:
an oGorgeous yoga bag!
I picked the pleated pocket in chrome dazzle– very similar to the bag that Cassey sent me over the holidays.
I get so many compliments on the bag, and am so excited that she kindly offered to send the yoga mat version (valued at $110) to a lucky fitnessista 🙂

Pigeon pose is my favorite, I have really tight hamstrings and this pose is amazing for loosening them up!
I like cobra..it’s so refreshing!
Downward dog is a great stretch for me.
I love tree pose! I could stand in it for hours and just let my mind calm down.
On days when I have good balance, dancer is my favorite pose. It brings back childhood memories of dance classes. When I’m having an off day, I prefer more grounded poses like spinal stretch or a simple table pose.
I’m pretty new to yoga, I just started practicing in February after about 10 years of only “hard core” work outs. Running, spinning, boot camp, etc. I always believed that yoga would be boring and that I wouldn’t feel like it was a work out. Boy, was I wrong! Not only have I been super duper sore after practicing, but I also learned that the mental and spiritual benefits of yoga are worth every second spent on the mat. I love shoulder stand and crow pose. I;m working my way toward getting the hang of some more complex ones! Now that it’s summer here in the Midwest, I’d love to ride my bike to yoga class, so I’ve been in the market for a bag!
What a pretty bag!!! Not sure I have a favorite pose but Sun Salute is a favorite sequence! It’s incredible what a difference doing a couple Sun Solutes can make in my mood and physical feeling! Love um 🙂
downward dog always feels so good for my running legs!
I like downward dog or triangle pose. Love getting my hammies stretched out after a run! That bag is beautiful <3
Pigeon! Hurts so good 🙂
Definitely pigeon for me-finding comfort in the discomfort is what it’s all about! And that bag is adorable!
Pigeon! Yoga has really served as an outlet to relax my body and mind, and I would love to sport this fabulously adorable bag to class!!!
warrior 2 is still one of my all-time favorites! and crow:)
My favorite yoga pose is the tree pose. I have no sense of balance, so I find this to be fun in a challenging way!

i would have to say pigeon pose is one of my favs, it hurts so good on my tight hockey player hips, but you can never go wrong with a regrouping childs pose!

There’s nothing like the downward dog in the morning! It energizes me for the day!

My favorite yoga pose is pigeon pose!
My favorite yoga pose is the pigeon (I think that’s what it’s called). I’m a runner, so my hips are always so tight- it feels amazing to stretch them out for an extended period of time. My 2nd favorite pose is savasana 🙂
Not my favorite pose, but I finally achieved a baby crow pose last night! I need a bag so badly and that’s the prettiest one I’ve ever seen. 🙂
