Winter Shape Up 2015: Week 4
Is it really the last week of Winter Shape Up? I canโt even believe it; itโs gone by wayyy too quickly! Thank you again to all of you for making this such a fun challenge, and for cheering each other along the way. We still have 6 days to crush it! Letโs finish with the same intensity that we started with. Even if you didnโt follow the plan, maybe try one of this weekโs workouts to see how you like it, and maybe youโll be able to join in the fun for summer. If youโre sad to see it come to an end, remember that you can repeat the program to make it an 8-week plan.

A special thanks to the sponsors who helped make this WSU possible:

This weekโs featured sponsor is Sabra, aka my favorite hummus.
They have an amazing variety of hummus dips, and my personal favorites are the garlic and spicy jalapeรฑo. Sabra kindly offered the following prize for a lucky reader: a $50 Visa gift card and 12(!) containers of hummus.

Tonight is The Dailey Method.
I did an easy 20 minute run with my dog followed by workout #4 x3. The usual flow yoga tonight to end my holiday. Can’t wait to finish WSU strong!
Working out on Mondays is always so tough for me! Off today (with some evening yoga tonight) and then starting the weekly schedule tomorrow.
Just finished wo# 1×3. So tough! I’m still sore after barre and hiit yesterday! Stretching it out now.
I ended up slacking off last week due to having unexpected guests staying with us for 5 days…but I’m back today! I took advantage of some toddler-free time and did a 4 mile hike (ran about half of it). My legs are already hurting so I will start up your plan tomorrow ๐ I am definitely thinking of repeating the plan to keep it going…and I scored a used spin bike so I’m excited to use that during the weeks too.
Snow day today. Took the active rest day today I stead if yesterday. I did a Jessica Smith walking workout to get my blood flowing for the day.
workout 4 complete! its nice to have workout options that I can do at home when I’m snowed in!
IM on schedule so this am was workout 4 3 times through!
I did my usual HIIT class this morning 6:35am-7:30am at the downtown YMCA. I love starting out the day with some gym time; the hardest part is just rolling out of bed, hehe.
Well, it just started to snow out here in NC so…. it’s gonna be an at home easy yoga workout today to help with a recent back injury.
i did 2 rounds of workout 4. plus an 8 minute ab routine.
3 mile hike yesterday. The weather was amazing!!! Today I swam laps. Got to start getting in shape for tri season
I was on the treadmill for 45 minutes this morning – finally building up a solid steady state workout (nearly solid “running” at 6 mile/hr). I’d love to run a 5K this summer – being a “runner” is smthg I thought I’d never be able to do.
Great swim today
Workout #4 x 3 today! Plus 20min warm up run and 20min cool down walk. All while watching the snow fall through the gym window. Hopefully the snow won’t disturb too much here in VA
Barre class!
Got the workout done. Things went a little better than when I did it last week, but I was again coming off an overnight shift so it was interesting.
Workout #4 x 3 times and the barre blast workout! Great workouts!
I did a great spin class tonight and plan to do workout #4 tomorrow!
Yesterday I took a relaxing yoga class.
Today I did workout #4 plus ran a mile.
Workout #4 was awesome! I think I might take a yoga class tonight also!
Loved workout four this morning!
Did workout 4 during nap time!
I was in the mood for a cardio morning so I did last year’s week four workout, along with a short arm strength training (weights) and lower body barre workout for balance.
Today was WO 4 x3 and some treadmill sprints!
Took it easy today and did a quick arm workout I found on youtube!
Took Sunday off and just completed workout #4!
Leg day for me today at my kettlebell class.
Intervals on the elliptical followed by some time on the bike so I can finish reading the book for my book club tomorrow! ๐
Had a really good run today!
I just completed a 3 mile walk and now it’s time for workout 4
Just did 2 rounds of #4! Very excited for tomorrow’s #3… I’m snowed in so I might do a couple rounds.
Took an awesome spin class today!
Workout #4 3x today!
I had a family emergency last week so I didn’t complete the whole week as I wanted. Instead of being frustrated with not finishing the way I hoped I decided to redo it! So I am on week 3 again. I finished a 40 steady Zumba class today. I am so happy I found a new workout I love.
Super energetic and super sweaty Cyclebar class ๐
Did Workout #4 today and it was nice and sweaty! Love the variety of muscles being worked and the addition of cardio in this one.
Today was a long, cold dog walk and tons of chores, equalling 12K+ steps so far. I had minor surgery on my back and can’t lift for a few days, so I’ll be modifying week 4 starting tomorrrow with some steady state!
I’m so sore from yesterday so today’s a rest day.
Workout 4 done-2 rounds, 15 minutes elliptical and some arm weights.
Workout 4 x 3 today. So fun!
I love Sabra hummus!! My workout today is 15 min of whole-body strengthening with dumbbells at home and then 20-30 min of elliptical while I read my textbook!
checking for tuesday… half hour HIIT class this morning!
Treadmill run this AM. Is it spring yet??
Just did workout #5 – so killer!
getting the workout on at home today! trapped indoors!
I did a 30 minute Plyo workout on Monday! Trying to get back in the game. This hamstring pull is really putting me out of my comfort level! But, moving is the key, so I am doing that and trying to stretch as much as I can.
Early morning barre class.
My husband decided he wanted to start P90X again, so we did legs and back this morning. Feel the burn.
