Winter Shape Up 2015: Week 4
Is it really the last week of Winter Shape Up? I can’t even believe it; it’s gone by wayyy too quickly! Thank you again to all of you for making this such a fun challenge, and for cheering each other along the way. We still have 6 days to crush it! Let’s finish with the same intensity that we started with. Even if you didn’t follow the plan, maybe try one of this week’s workouts to see how you like it, and maybe you’ll be able to join in the fun for summer. If you’re sad to see it come to an end, remember that you can repeat the program to make it an 8-week plan.

This week’s featured sponsor is Sabra, aka my favorite hummus.
They have an amazing variety of hummus dips, and my personal favorites are the garlic and spicy jalapeño. Sabra kindly offered the following prize for a lucky reader: a $50 Visa gift card and 12(!) containers of hummus.

The ice gave me a day out of school so I actually got to work out on a Tuesday! I had to switch it up, but I did w/o #1 3x. Whew! Before I started I almost convinced myself I wouldn’t be able to handle it 3x, but I figured it was worth a shot, and obviously I’m not going to quit halfway through my 3rd round! 😉
Workout #5 Complete!
We might be under a windchill warning this morning for -30F temps, but I was dripping in sweat by the time I finished Workout #1 x 3 rounds. I pulled a workout switch-a-roo since, I have a bosu ball class at the gym today; I’ll do workout #5 on Wednesday.
Did Workout 4 for the first time this morning–way harder than expected! Such a great workout!
today was a 45 minute trek in about 6 inches of snow. then i had to do about 30 minutes of shoveling.
Active rest day over here!
Did legs yesterday and will do arms today! Woo hoo!
Forgot to check in yesterday. Had a friend visiting from out of town, so I had to make it a rest day. Will be re-arranging the workout schedule to make up for it 😉
Did a 30 minute low impact workout (Fitnessblender) + Workout #3
forgot to comment yesterday-did Body Pump followed by 15min on the elliptical!
just did a spin class and some quick biceps and triceps-getting harder at 35weeks pregnant!
Hills in spin class. I haven’t been going for a couple of months, so I was definitely feeling it!
45 minutes on the treadmill plus pushups and ab work!
WO#5 was a winner this morning!
My favorite yoga class!
Workout #5 speedwalking on the treadmill today
lunchtime zumba!
I mixed it up a bit and did workouts #3 and #2 today since I have more time. I went from quaking to sweatin’. Phew!
A mixture of your barre workouts for about 40 minutes + arms&core mini circuit
Did a super sweaty FitnessBlender HIIT/lower body and 15 minutes Pilates for lower body.
I’m a day behind schedule, so yesterday was my rest day.
Today I did wo#4 x 2 and the barre arm burner.
The workout of the day today is Workout #4 – looking forward to getting this done after work today!
I did Workout #5 yesterday (I loved this hilly workout!) and today I’m planning to find a nice long yoga set on Gaiam TV. I’ve been craving a good stretch sesh, so I decided to listen to my body and go with that tonight after work.
I woke up early to do workout #5 this morning but I didn’t sleep well and felt sore from yesterday. Knowing I also have a bootcamp class on the books for tonight, I opted to sub bootcamp for #5 instead of overdoing it. Have to remember that 20 weeks pregnant means I might (sarcasm) need to slow it down just a little bit! That said – I am ready for bootcamp tonight!
Just finished 3 rounds of workout 4. I feel awesome!
30 minute run today! It was almost TOO hot. 🙁 Just a tiny bit jealous that I’m not snowed in somewhere… 🙂
Little bit of a pulled hammy today. Did 30 min. easy on the bike.
I did Workout #5 on a gym treadmill plus some total body circuits!
Just did workout # 2 because I couldn’t get to the gym to do #5. Snowpocalypse 2015 has struck NC! One inch of snow and the place is shut down.
Did 60 minute steady state today (preparing for a 9 miler in April) and a 10 minute Ab workout!
was stuck inside today so switched up and did workout #1×3 today instead of tomorrow. definitely feel like I’m not struggling as much as the first time I did it! progress!!
Just finished up Workout 4 x2.5. My inner thighs are loving this one.
Just did workout #4 🙂 love it!
Today I did WO 5 and 30 minutes of elliptical!
Ran 4 mi on the treadmill today before work!
Did a great HIIT workout today!
got my workout done! it was a long day
Workout #5, check!
Workout is done 🙂 Can’t wait to dive into a pool of hummus!
Today will be a total body weight workout!
Did a walking workout #5 yesterday and it felt too easy. I guess I should probably get back into running. I feel like this WSU has helped me to get my endurance back!
Workout #1×3 done!
I am soooreee today! Maybe workout #4 Monday followed by bootcamp yesterday wasn’t the best idea? It definitely led me to believe Workout #1×3 was not in the card for today so I am swapping – I am “interviewing” a Zumba instructor tonight so I have a class on the agenda at 5pm!
Quick kickboxing workout before class!
Four miles before breakfast. Now I want to nap.
“Fit Tuesday” Workout x3 yesterday plus 20 min elliptical warm up and cool down! Great day! Today I plan to do a treadmill interval workout and Workout 3 + your Plank video from the blog today!
Workout #1 3 times through this morning. I felt great!
got up extra early this morning to get in my workout before a long day of work
6 HARD miles ran with my MRTT crew. Training for an upcoming half marathon is proving to be more difficult that usual these days with unpredictable scheduling.
