Winter Shape Up 2015: Week 4
Is it really the last week of Winter Shape Up? I can’t even believe it; it’s gone by wayyy too quickly! Thank you again to all of you for making this such a fun challenge, and for cheering each other along the way. We still have 6 days to crush it! Let’s finish with the same intensity that we started with. Even if you didn’t follow the plan, maybe try one of this week’s workouts to see how you like it, and maybe you’ll be able to join in the fun for summer. If you’re sad to see it come to an end, remember that you can repeat the program to make it an 8-week plan.

Upper body and workout 4!
I did workouts #2 and #3! I’m not sure how it can be week 4 already. I definitely want to run through the shape up plan again!

Workout #1 for 3 times, brutal but great!
Today was wo #5. It’s still a killer even when you’re just walking on the treadmill!
Today’s workout was a power fitness yoga practice followed by stairs 🙂
I am going to have today be my rest day and will work tomorrow 🙂

Wednesday Check-In: Workout #3 (I’m really digging this barre video) before 6am and a 4 mile run around the track at varying speeds at lunch (all the treadmills/bikes were in use so I couldn’t do workout #5…will try again Friday). Now to muster up some enthusiasm to take my dog for a walk in -20 windchill after work…brrr

Did workout 1 3 times. I really liked how the tabata rounds were split up. I think it helped me push myself harder than if it was all in a row.
I attacked the cardio hill – WO#5 today. My calves are sore from the barre work yesterday, so they were talking to me.
I did barre last night!
Completed the workouts yesterday and today! It felt so nice to not have dead legs like I have been recently.
Pushed through 3 rounds of workout #1! Increased my dumbbell weight from 5 to 10lbs which has not happened before!
Today is a rest day but one filled with so much walking.
Did workout 5 – treadmill is not my fave but it made the time fly by!
Took a Body Pump class today! Arms and legs are already shaking!
I opted for some yoga today because I felt extra sore. Might do a quick run with the dog if I’m feeling up to it.
Sweaty workout done followed by 30 mins of yoga. Feeling awesome!!!!

Did Workout #1 x 3 today and loved it, as usual! Paired it with a fast 10 minutes on the elliptical.
I was really pumped for Workout #1 today but wasn’t feeling well all day and I didn’t have it in me. = ( Hopefully tomorrow I will get it done!
Did 2 rounds if the fit Tuesday workout and some cardio today!
Unexpected rest day….hubby and I drove to the gym this a.m. but no one was there to open?! Probably due to the recent snow. Ready to sweat tomorrow!
Yesterday was a rest day for me so today was workout 5. I am super sweaty after that one!
Workout 1 has gotten easier.
Today was a rest day and I hit 10K steps!
Today I ran for 20 minites and did shoulder weights. Will do workout 1×3 tomorrow and that plank video you posted.
Workout 4 today. I am loving the HIIT weights combos this year.
wednesday: kickboxing class (i.e. an hour of steady-state cardio)
thursday: hot power yoga!
Rest day today. 12 hours at work…ugh.

I’ve totally slacked on my checkins this week… But still going strong with my yoga challenge and other workouts! Sunday kickboxing, power vinyasa and an amazing relax and heal yoga class! Monday RIPPED and Hatha. Tuesday Hatha, Wedsnesday VInyasa!
I was needing a little extra motivation this morning so I did the 2014 WSU Workout #4. It was a sweaty good time!

My workout schedule is a bit “off” this week. I did 15 minutes of elliptical + workout #1 (4x). I wanted to work a bit extra due to more than usual rest/easy workout days.
This week has been a wonky workout week! I have had to deviate from the schedule a bit, but I have kept up the intensity each day. This morning was WO#1 x2 only had time for 2 🙁 , and a 30 min incline steady state walk on the treadmill is slated for lunch time!
Today’s check-in: boot camp class at the Univ of Washington Tacoma YMCA at 6:15am.
Rest day today!
Switched it up and did Friday’s workout this morning 🙂 Going strong!
