Winter Shape Up 2015: Week 4
Is it really the last week of Winter Shape Up? I can’t even believe it; it’s gone by wayyy too quickly! Thank you again to all of you for making this such a fun challenge, and for cheering each other along the way. We still have 6 days to crush it! Let’s finish with the same intensity that we started with. Even if you didn’t follow the plan, maybe try one of this week’s workouts to see how you like it, and maybe you’ll be able to join in the fun for summer. If you’re sad to see it come to an end, remember that you can repeat the program to make it an 8-week plan.

Today’s workout: Bosu Ball meets the video of Insanity’s 30Max plus 10Max abs = 45 minute workout at the gym today. I was a sweaty mess leaving the gym and headed home to work remotely so no one had to smell me
Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I ended up doing barre workout #3. I saving wo #2 for this weekend.
Body said rest today, so i just did some light stretching. Ready to get back at it tomorrow!

My workout today was 3 rounds of WO1. My balance was much better withy the one legged dead lift – whoop!

Did workout #1 3 times this morning–definitely my favorite of this year’s shape up workouts!
3 mile walk today
3 rounds of workout 3. and i did a mish mash of a barre workout based on your holiday barre workout from december.
Another treadmill run this morning! -7 out and -28 with the constant 15mph winds!
ended up doing an interval run today, limited to a treadmill!
Blergh this week has been all over the place. I’ve had a lot of work events and the cold here in NY has been killing my motivation. Managed to wake up early this morning and walk to the gym in 2 degree weather to do Workout 5 plus some abs! Can’t wait for the weekend and more time to workout!
Rest Day!
Yesterday was a rest day with a sick baby :(. This morning was workout #2 and #3 tonight! Workout #2 is always a challenge for me!!
Kicked off my Friday with the Friday workouts – so much delightful pain! Made me feel so good I walked right by the doughnut holds a coworker brought in today! Looking forward to that bikini in the Dominican Republic in a few weeks…

Today was an active recovery day with some treadmill walking, ab work and pushups-until my little dude climbed on my back for a ride 🙂
Yesterday I spent 45 min on the treadmill followed by abs and pushups!
Cardio day – I had a seriously case of workout ADD today and needed something to distract and motivate me, so, I did 30 minutes of incline & running intervals, plus 30 minutes split between elliptical & stairmill. Planning on Workout #4 tomorrow.

I did a hot vinyasa flow followed by 30 minute HIIT workout this morning.
My workout buddy. She gets 15 minutes indoor fetch then self entertains and cools off while I do my workout. Workout #2 done! Treadmills full again today, so I did a 40 minute ArcTrainer incline workout instead.
I’m kind of sad this is the last day of workouts for winter shape-up 2015…it’s been fun!! I think this is the first time I’ve followed through to the end. I’m contemplating doing 2014s shape-up for the next 4 weeks.
Workout #1 x3 – I used heavier weights this time and felt so strong! Followed by the plank ab burner you just posted. Looking forward to a flow yoga class later tonight!

Just got in my workout #2 before my nephew woke up from his nap. Yay!
Only had time for workout #3 today, so will do #2 tomorrow. I feel like it’s cheating a bit since it’s harder to do them consecutively, but oh well 🙂
today is a rest day for me! I did get a 30 min treadmill lunch walk in though just to shake my legs out.

I just finished wo #2 & wo #4 today–holy moses! I feel great going into the weekend!
Did workout #2 and workout #3 today – in that order – and it was a great way to begin my Friday evening. Barre left me shaky + fatigued as always!

Thursday was an off day (woot woot!), Friday I did WSU 2014’s week 3 workout (I loved that one! I did the strength portion, HIIT, strength, HIIT, and ended on one final strength round)!
Did workout #2 and #3 today.

Workout 6 and 4 rounds of arm shredding and leg burner. Sad to see WSU end but will continue my hard work until summer shape up! Thanks, Gina, for all you do and for a fantastic 4 weeks! Xo
