Winter Shape Up 2018: Week 2
Hi friends! Welcome to Week 2 of this year’s challenge! While I look forward to putting together the workouts for you during each Shape Up (and filming the videos!) the best part by far is the community that it creates. It’s pretty incredible to see women (and dudes!) all over the world, cheering each other on and supporting everyone’s fitness goals. Our Facebook group has been a blast so far, and I’m excited to pop in with a couple of surprise Live Workouts along the way. It’s not too late to join in the fun if you’d like to Shape Up with us! For this week, here’s what the workouts look like: (feel free to shuffle around as needed. Talk to a doctor before making any fitness changes and honor your body.)

I did HIIT and steady this morning. For a total of about 45 minutes. It felt great!
You are so inspiring! I finally found my groove for workouts- I can only get 4 workouts in a week so I have to make them count! I rocked the arms and back today with resistance training then took a very long power stroll with my youngest!
I ran 16 miles this morning. Yay for marathon training.

Yay so excited to start another week of WSU! Totally skipped out on workouts over the weekend (classic behaviour – I’m so motivated during the week but at the weekend I just want to veg out!) so this morning I did some deadlift work, chest work, and and a 15 minute treadmill / rowing machine HIIT scorcher.
Did the ab workout yesterday!! Would love a new outfit or two!! Never got to purchase Fabletics !!

Just completed workout 2 and 7. My legs are shaking!
Taught a 1 hour yoga class today. Happy Monday!
I did a full body circuit workout today and ran 5 miles!
I just had to put a new jug on the water cooler at the office. Does that count as strength?! Tonight’s workout is xtend stick.
I did bootcamp this morning!
Started my 1/2 marathon training this morning!
Sunday is my off day, but I did 40 min walking on the treadmill to get the rest of my 10,000 steps yesterday 😀
I just got done with some yoga and meditation, and will head out for a walk with my daughter once she gets home from school. <3
I started my Monday off with a slow flow yoga class and now I’m ready to tackle the week!
I did workouts #2 and #7 today. I don’t feel like I worked the abs too hard. Hopefully I did things correct. I do enjoy the videos as I feel like they push me more. They make me more accountable as it feels like Gina’s in the room! 🙂
Had an early meeting this morning but kept my appointment with leg day anyway. Leg day is the best day!
I did 20 mins on the elliptical yesterday and workouts #2 and #7! i’m beat! today I start my half marathon training so i’ll do 3 miles on the treadmill this evening after work!
Just want to add that I am the most consistent with WSU this year!!! thank you so much!! and I love the fb group, it’s so empowering and motivating! a safe place for us.

I’m a week behind because my back was hurt. But I did Workout 1 this morning and will be doing a long walk later this afternoon when my lil nugget wakes up from his nap.
Workout 4 2x after Power Hour Hot Yoga!
30 min of stair mill and 15 min of rowing this morning. Nursing my calf muscle still so low impact is a must.
Workout 1 again today, feeling strong!

I did workout #1 this morning! It took an hour while my 1 and 3 year old needed hugs and help with things but it got done!

I had to shuffle a couple of days around, but Workout #2 and Workout #7 are complete!
Took a walk in the snow for cardio today and did workout #3 so I don’t have to do it on Wednesday! It was tough but felt great.

I’ve been loving dance fitness lately- I did an Amanda Kloots you-tube video.
I’m thinking about buying “Cize”, but not sure if I want to spend the money.
I jogged 2 miles and lifted upper body. Currently 20 weeks pregnant and can’t wait to try workout # 2 – the barre legs workout!
Workout #1 of the week done last night! Not a WSU workout but a circuit from my sister who is a personal trainer in PHX!
I had to get my run in today-4 miles and a yin yoga class-Love the stretching!
40 minutes HIIT and workout 2 done!
Spin Class this AM followed by some pretty intense FLOOR Cleaning when I got home. 🙂

Today I did 3 rounds of workout 6 total body circuit! Then I did 30 minutes steady state on my elliptical! Great workout!
